This is an appeal of a final order entered in two consolidated cases. The order denied attorneys fees and costs to Neal D. Evans, Jr., the former attorney for the nominal appellants, Edwin R. Brown and City Federal Savings Bank. Evans had moved for an award of attorneys fees pursuant to section 627.428, Florida Statutes, and recovery of the costs and expenses advanced on behalf of his clients in litigating their claims against the insurer, Vermont Mutual Insurance Company. He also sought a charging lien on the proceeds of any settlement made by Vermont Mutual. We reverse and remand for further proceedings.
